Event Storming Board

A modelling surface for change-management requests. The chrome is monochrome steel on paper; all color in the product belongs to the sticky grammar, so the timeline reads as a legend at a glance. Conventions follow eventstorming.com, adapted where the digital medium can do better than a paper wall.

Stakeholder map

Influence against interest, on a 3×3 lattice. Ruled ground.

An actor on the timeline and a stakeholder on this map are the same person seen twice. The small sticky is already the right object, so the map costs one canvas and no new sticky type. The activity is the positioning: nobody argues about a name, they argue about whether Procurement really has high influence.

Horizontal axis, interest, left to right: LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH. Vertical axis, influence, top to bottom: HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW.

THE WHOLE CHANGE — EIGHT STAKEHOLDERS, ONE OF THEM CONTESTEDFOCUS A STICKY AND USE THE ARROW KEYS: TWO ENUM WORDS LEAVE, A COORDINATE NEVER DOES
Fidelity: §22 paints its stickies #d9dc4f / #a9ac2c / #5c5e10. They are built on --color-actor-*, one hue step away, because §02’s canonical actor yellow is normative and §22 itself says a stakeholder *is* an actor. INVENTORY §7 item 2 records the decision; --color-stakeholder-legacy-* is referenced nowhere.
Rules
  • Same sticky as an actor, same colour, same 120-wide geometry — scaled to the cell, never re-coloured.
  • A stakeholder placed on the map and an actor used on the timeline are one object. Rename in either place, both change.
  • Two positions for one person is the normal case, not an error. The proposed one is dashed at 72% and credited.
  • Scope is optional: the whole change, or one bounded context. A stakeholder can sit high in one context and low in another.
  • High influence, low interest is the cell that matters most in a change board. The facilitator names it out loud when someone lands there.
